This policy explains what information RemindHer collects through the RemindHer app and the remindher.app website, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not show ads.
1. Who we are
RemindHer is a family organizer app that helps parents share tasks, schedules and the mental load. RemindHer is operated by Adi Ben Elyahu in Israel, who is responsible for the information described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, email support@remindher.app.
2. Information we collect in the app
Account information
- Email address
- Login method (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In or email)
- A unique user identifier
Family and user content
You may add and manage names of family members (for example, children or a partner), children’s dates of birth, and tasks, reminders and events. We use this information only to provide the app’s core features.
Images
You may upload images, such as family photos. Images are stored securely, used only within the app, and never used for advertising. You can delete them at any time.
Usage data
We may collect app interactions, feature usage, and device type, operating system and app version.
Voice input
If you use voice input, your recording may be processed, and temporarily stored for processing, to create tasks and reminders.
Calendar data
If you connect an external calendar (for example, Google Calendar), we access its events to show them in the app. We do not change external calendars without your permission.
3. Information we collect on the website
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how visitors find us. It collects pages viewed, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location (country or city), and it uses cookies (see section 5).
- Comments. If you comment on an article, we collect the name, email and optional website you enter, your comment, and your IP address and browser information, which WordPress uses to prevent spam. Your email is never published.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Our free online tools, such as the mental load calculator and the custody schedule builder, run in your browser. The information you enter in them is not sent to or stored on our servers. A custody schedule link you share contains that schedule’s settings, and only people who have the link can see them.
4. How we use information
- To provide and operate the app, including tasks, reminders and family sharing
- To provide AI-based features (see section 7)
- To send reminders and notifications you asked for (you can turn them off at any time)
- To respond to your messages and support requests
- To understand how the app and website are used, and improve them
- To keep our services secure and prevent spam and abuse
- To comply with the law
5. Cookies
The website uses a small number of cookies:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Counts visits and tells visits apart, so we can see which content is useful | Up to 2 years |
| pll_language | RemindHer (Polylang) | Remembers whether you prefer English or Hebrew | 1 year |
| comment_author_* | RemindHer (WordPress) | Remembers your name and email for the next comment, only if you tick the box | About 1 year |
Some pages also load services from Google, such as fonts and the “preferred source” button, and Google may receive your IP address when they load.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also stop Google Analytics from collecting your data with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
6. Sign-in services
You may sign in with Apple or Google. We then receive your email address and a unique identifier, which we use only to log you in. We never see or store your password.
7. AI processing
We may use artificial intelligence services to process text, voice and images you provide, in order to create tasks and suggestions and to improve the app’s features.
8. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run RemindHer, and only as needed:
- Cloud hosting and storage providers, including our website host (Cloudways)
- Google (Analytics, Sign-In, fonts) and Apple (Sign-In, App Store)
- AI service providers that process content for AI features
- Apple App Store and Google Play, which process payments
- Legal authorities, when the law requires it
9. Payments
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect it.
11. How long we keep information
- App data: while your account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
- Analytics data: up to 14 months.
- Comments: while they are published. You can ask us to remove yours at any time.
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your request.
12. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Delete your information or your account
- Stop using your information for a particular purpose
- Receive a copy of your information
These rights come from Israel’s Privacy Protection Law, 1981. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you similar rights, and residents of some US states have similar rights under their state laws.
To use any of these rights, email support@remindher.app. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority, or to the data protection authority in your country.
13. Children
RemindHer is intended for parents. We do not create accounts for children and do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Family information, including children’s names and dates of birth, is entered by the parent.
14. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
